Life-time purchase/premium

  IDK if the Day One team will ever read this but here’s an idea: Offering a lifetime purchase option, then selling new features as add-ons so that Automattic still earns money from lifetime users. For example you could charge a few bucks for the upcoming text coloring feature and use that to support the servers for lifetime users.

  I too, would like a lifetime subscription, it would ease users to know they have it always. I would be more confident knowing I have a platform, to write on with features such as formatting, and drawing tool-not worrying to resubscribe to it.

  I’d happily lose AI and even be limited to 3 devices with the native app and if you are at capacity use the web app. Not only that i would expect not to be able to upload 30 images per post. 3-5 would be reasonable I expect.
