Visual indicators for cloud/local cache status

It’s difficult to tell whether attachments are still downloading, partially available, or fully stored offline. Would love some simple visual indicators showing whether an entry is:
- cloud-only
- partially cached locally
- fully downloaded locally
Something like red / yellow / green status indicators could work really well.

Thank you for posting this. It’s a useful idea, and you’ve described it really clearly.
Right now, Day One doesn’t surface per-entry download or cache status in the way you’re describing. Sync runs in the background and attachments are fetched automatically, but there’s no visual indicator at the entry or attachment level that tells you whether something is fully on-device, still downloading, or cloud-only. Your suggestion is noted.
In the meantime, the most reliable way to make sure entries are fully available offline before going somewhere without connectivity is to open the app while on Wi-Fi, scroll through the entries you want synced, and give the app a few minutes before going offline.
