Separate Journal view setting per Journal

I have different journals for different purposes, e.g. I have one private “Instagram” journal, which just contains one photo per day.
This kind of journal is best viewed in Media view, while my daily 5min bulletin journal usually does not contain any images in is therefore best viewed in List view.
I would LOVE to set a default view per journal and/or just be able to set the view separately for each Journal. Each setting should be persistent until it is changed again for the specific journal. Thanks for considering.

I’m late to the party but would really like to throw my support in for this idea, even just the ability to change the default for all journals would be a start. Every time I open my journals I’m switching from list to calendar view. As I sometimes update entries through the day, it’s frustrating to do this each time. Thanks!
