Pricing in Poland seems weird

  Hi. The silver plan per DO website is 49.99 USD in the U.S., but the silver plan in Poland is 299 PLN, which is 81.43 USD.

  So the Silver plan in Poland, an Eastern European country, is more expensive than a Gold plan in the States. Why is that?
  
  Gold plan BTW is 349 PLN which is 95 USD, 20 bucks more than in the States. Why are Poles paying so much more?
