Old version download + fonts

I am interested in Day One for macOS. I was told it can only be purchased from the Mac App store. However, on there it says that macOS 15 is required. My computer cannot run anything later than macOS 12. Do you have an old version for macOS 12 that can be downloaded?
Also, I saw in this forum that on Mac, custom fonts cannot be added. I’ve done my journaling in Candara font and would like to continue to do so. Does the Mac version have Candara font?

Day One for Mac requires macOS 15 (Sequoia) or later, and the Mac app is distributed only through the Mac App Store. We don’t offer older builds of the app for earlier releases of macOS, so there isn’t a download that will run on macOS 12.
You can still journal on that Mac through the web app at https://dayone.me. It works in Safari, Chrome, Firefox, and Edge, and it covers writing, editing, browsing, and searching your entries, along with photos, videos, audio, and PDFs. You can create an account and start using it without going through the Mac App Store at all, and subscription plans are available directly on the web too, so the App Store isn’t the only route. If you also use an iPhone, iPad, or Android device, the apps there stay in sync with the same account.
The Mac app offers a fixed set of built-in fonts, and Candara isn’t one of them. There’s also no option on Mac to add a font of your own. The Mac list currently includes Anonymous Pro, Avenir, Calluna Sans, Courier New, Futura, Georgia, Helvetica Neue, Ideal Sans, Lato, Lato Light, Merriweather, Myriad Pro, New York, Open Sans, OpenDyslexic, Roboto, San Francisco, Sentinel, Tsukushi B Round Gothic, and Whitney. If you’re after something close to Candara’s humanist look, Lato, Open Sans, and Myriad Pro are the nearest matches in that list.
Choosing a font you’ve installed yourself is possible on iPhone and iPad, under Settings > Appearance > Fonts inside Day One. That depends on the font already being installed on the device, which is handled outside Day One.
I’ve recorded your request for custom font support on Mac with the team so it sits alongside the others asking for it.

In addition to what staff-read said, I’d like to point out a positive feature alluded to in his response.
You can use Day One on the web (only), on iPhone and/or iPad (alone), or with the right subscription on a combination of the web version (on your Mac) and your iPhone, making your journal portable.
