Markdown Broken After Updated to macOS 2026.6

  In the past, if you copy Gemini answer directly into Day One it will be formatted into markdown automatically.
  But after updating to macOS 2026.6 today, this function totally broken. But it still works in iOS.

  It makes me feel like that when Day One is trying to fix one bug, it will bring 10 more bugs. Please fix it.

  Thanks for reporting this. We’ve been able to reproduce the issue – pasting formatted content from sources like Gemini into Day One on macOS is not preserving the markdown formatting as expected in version 2026.6. We can confirm this is a bug.
