Let us dismiss the “Upgrade to Gold” banner – Loyal user since 2011

  Hi. Thank you devs for this amazing app.

  But if you guys can’t give us, the loyal users since 2011, a discount on the Gold tier, the least you could do is make it possible to dismiss the “Upgrade to Day One Gold” banner.

  Agreed. Been a user from the beginning. I don’t want the Gold tier. Ever. No A.I. for my personal journal. Turn off the Advertisement. It’s embarrassing. Reminds me of Microsoft Slop. Please. Stop.

  +1. Seriously disgraceful to put a (seemingly permanent) upsell in the sidebar like that, especially when I’m paying yearly already. A pop-up would’ve been bad enough, but forgivable.

  We’ve heard the feedback on this, and we are preparing version 2026.12.1 which will enable the upgrade banner to be removed. Keep an eye out for that update in the App Store. Thank you!
