Hide AI icons/menus if off

  It’s annoying to have these tool/menus/icons taking up space even if the AI Features setting is turned off. I doubt this will be a priority, but it’d be so nice.

  Hi @cfmorr – Thanks for the feedback, we’ll continue to work on refining the interface for users who choose not to use the AI features.

  I second that. I find the whole idea of AI to be inhuman, especially in a journalling app. Please, make this happen. It not only takes up space, but I am opposed to AI in creative spaces.

  We got your feedback passed along. Keep in mind if the AI features are not enabled, then AI is not available in the app. These have to be manually enabled.

  I strongly support this request. I’d like to hide all AI icons from my views if I disable the features. I won’t relitigate adding them in the first place, but in a paid app that prioritized aesthetics, a clean uncluttered space to set out your personal thoughts, and an app that promises privacy (with E2EE), the last thing I want is AI sparkles intruding on my experience. I’m trying to escape that!
