Fonts in Windows

  Excuse me if this is covered somewhere else. I couldn’t find it. Is there any way to change the displayed font size in the Windows version? In my opinion, the default is too large to be usable. Thanks

  Day One for Windows doesn’t currently have a built-in font size control. You may want to try the following:

  1. Go to Settings > Accessibility > Text size.
  2. Adjust the slider to your preferred percentage.
  3. Click Apply.

  This affects all apps, but it’s the most direct way to reduce the text size in Day One.

  It’s not optimal to me that I can’t alter the decisions the Windows app makes for me regarding fonts, and font sizes. For example, if I copy some text from VS Code that is in Fira Mono 14, judging by appearance the app seems to convert it into Courier New 10. And there’s no way for me to undo that decision. This may be a deal-breaker for me, which is too bad. I don’t know why the app’s creator decided that it was too much trouble to add control of fonts to the Windows app, but it doesn’t seem like it was well-thought out. I suspect there are far more Windows users than Mac users.
