Diary Entry Loss, Recovery Help for Mac user
-
Hello, I was not aware that my diary entries on my Mac for the past three years were entered without logging into an actual account. Today I opened the app, saw all of my entries, but then the app prompted me to login to an account. So I said okay and logged in with my apple id, and when I did, I saw the entries were not under the apple id. I logged out and after I logged out, the original screen that had all my diary entries before I logged in was blank. All of the entries are gone.
The dayone.sqlite document shows 2.3 mb of data is on it, but I am not sure if it has the diary entries anymore because it says it was modified today at the time all this happened. Can someone help me recover the entries that were on the app without having to login to an account, I was a guest user? Typically Apple devices keep all of the data tied to apps unless the app itself is deleted. I haven’t deleted the app so is there a chance the data is still here and can be recovered? I am using a Macbook and the Day One Version is 2-26.10 (1753). -Thanks alot for your time.
