Day One Mac password window won’t take password

When I launch Day One Mac I get the light blue password window. When I enter the password into the password field and hit return the password highlights but does not process the password and let me into Day One.

Hello, I followed the steps but there was password for day one in the key chain list. now it is just always locked so I can’t use this app at all. I tried to delete it and reinstall, it is still asking for the password. Is there a way to resolve this? Thank you

@lichen88cl Sorry, was there a password or there wasn’t a password in the Key Chain list for Day One?
If you search for Day One in your Key Chain you should be able to find the app locking password. The article that was shared shows an screenshot of what that looks like.
