Day One continually freezing

  Hi, I make multiple entries everyday and the web based version keeps freezing. I get the wheel of death turning as I wait for it but it never unfreezes.It’s got progressively worse over the past few months

  What’s the solution?

  Help! I have used Day One for 3 years with no problem. Then one day the app said loading. I tried a few things with no luck. Now it says waiting.
  I have used a free version but am willing to pay if that would help. In

  I just posted that I couldn’t get it to open, but I figured out what to do and now it’s open. I guess the update made it change and it looks different but that’s fine with me.

  @inspiringartisan3da02705cc glad to hear you were able to get it sorted out and the app is working again!

  It sounds like the app may have gotten stuck during an update. If that ever happens again, here are the recommended steps:

  • Long-press the Day One app icon on your home screen
  • Tap “Cancel Download”
  • Then retry the update from the App Store
