Dark mode for drawing notes

I use day one on my iPad and usually in the evening. The fact that there is no dark mode is making it painful for the eyes, please add maybe ability to change the background color at least

I’d like to second this! Really want to use DayOne for handwriting notes, but it’s unusable without a dark mode. Have to keep using Notes, GoodNotes, or another option that doesn’t make my eyes bleed.

Day One is currently the only app on my computer that doesn’t support dark mode, and every time I open it at night, it makes my eyes uncomfortable.
So much so that I deliberately try to avoid even opening Day One at night.
If there is a similar app that can replace Day One in the future, I won’t hesitate to leave.

Hi @tisfeng, can you tell us what platform you’re using Day One on? This thread is mainly for those requesting Dark mode from the drawing/handwriting feature.

Add me to the list of people that want dark mode drawing! I recently, trialed the Silver tier, and I was excited to see I could finally draw! Only, I cannot draw on dark mode. It instantly turns all of the colors into these dark saturated colors, no vividness to them whatsoever.
