“Daily Prompt” not showing

  Hello.
  I’ve checked “display prompt every day” in the settings and then select my journal but, I can’t find “daily prompt” anywhere. It used to show up daily.
  
  I’ve been having this trouble for awhile. The version status says “Up To Date” and it’s Version 2026.4 (1732). I’m on a MacBook Pro 3 with MacOS Tahoe Version 26.3.

  Hi Brenda

  In the current version of Day One on Mac, the Daily Prompt is under the More menu. Here’s how to find it:

  1. At the top of the left sidebar, click “More”.
  2. You should see “Daily Prompt” there — clicking it will create a new entry with today’s prompt.

  The prompt no longer appears automatically as a banner, like it used to in older versions, which is likely why it seems to have disappeared.
