Configure and suppress daily notification if an entry has already been added

As a user, I would like to customise my notifications so that if I have already added a journal entry for the day, I can suppress the notification so I don’t receive a redundant notification. E.g. Daily notifications are configured to be sent 6pm but if I had filled out an entry at 4pm earlier, I won’t receive the 6pm push. This is a feature that exists in Daylio.

You’re right that, right now, Day One’s reminders don’t check whether you’ve already made an entry for that day, so you’ll still get the 6pm reminder even if you journaled earlier. There’s no setting today on iOS, Android, or Mac to suppress a reminder based on same-day entries.
