clicked URLs not opening in default browser on PC

  Multiple issues with external hyperlinks in Day One journal entries. Using the Windows (Electron) app (version 2026.12.2), if one can create a web link, something like this:
  https://WordPress.com
  
  The expected action is when clicking (or right-clicking) the link, it will open up the default browser (in my case, Chrome for Windows), taking us to WordPress. Instead, a partial, mini browser window opens (part of Electron) and there appears to be no way to get the link into Chrome, short of manually copying and pasting it there.
  
  It also appears that link creation (converting text URLs to clickable URLs) is broken or disabled in both Windows and the web app. All of this works properly on Android.
  Thank you. I’m loving Day One, but this is crucial functionality for any journaling or note taking app.
