App lagging on iPhone

Hi everyone!
I’ve been using the app for years without issues but then this morning it really started lagging bad on my iPhone.
I deleted and reinstalled it but its still really bad… any advice?

i’m having the same problem! Try to update it in the App Store I heard, but that didn’t help me.

Thanks for the reports. This is a known issue our developers are currently investigating. As a possible workaround, one user reported that disabling WiFi solved the lagging issue, so you could try disabling WiFi while you write your entry, and then enabling it again once you’ve finished to sync the entry. If you do try that, could you let us know if it helps?
Meanwhile we’ll work on getting this fixed as soon as possible. We’ll provide an update here once we have news.

I am not able to use Day One at all. It is simply too slow. I put it in airplane mode. I turned off Wi-Fi. Please give me a workaround. What other diary can I use In the meantime that I can import into Day One when you have fixed it? If this does not work, if there is no solution,I am not going to subscribe again. This is unacceptable for the money I’m paying.
