Windows app missing features despite same subscription price

DayOne has been offering a Windows app and DayOne on the web for some time now (which I as a Windows user very much appreciate!)

But: Windows users pay the same subscription price as Mac/iOS users, yet they do not receive the same feature set. This seems very inappropriate: to charge the same price for a product offering less features.

Whenever this lack of feature parity is raised in the forum, the standard reply is that the mentioned feature is planned for the future, but no ETA can be given. This explanation is legitimate for the Basic version (cost free), but not for the Premium version, since those features are being paid for – but not received.

I would expect that quickly attaining feature parity for a platform paying the same price as those platforms already enjoying the full feature set would be of the highest priority. Why is this not the case?
