Where is the new Tables Feature?

I’ve just installed the latest iOS update where it tells me that there is now a feature to include tables in entries. But currently it’s only available via the web app.

I’m in it now as I type this. I created a new entry but I cannot see any way to insert a table.

Below is a screen shot of what I am seeing. Is this feature not yet implemented or am I having one of those “man looks” that my wife describes as me having when I can’t find something?

    Thanks.

There is not full support for useful tables yet. You have to go the [web version](https://dayone.me) where you will see a table icon in the toolbar.

Be careful because you may still see blanks in the Mac app when viewing your tables – but there is a notice:

    Table Notice

This entry contains a table that can’t be edited on iOS or Mac. To make changes, open it in the web app or create a copy without the table data.

A “Create Copy” button is provided.

It is promising that tables are getting attention but not particularly useful unless you use the web app for creation and the other apps for reading.

Thanks for the reply. I was in the web app (as shown in the screen shot). There is no icon for the tables that I can see.

    Thanks

  • Hi @marts57 – Table support on iOS is currently read-only. As @piarasj mentioned you have to use the web app to add tables to an entry.

It looks like you may not be on the latest version. Can you try refreshing and if that doesn’t help sign out/in. You should see the table icon as shown:
