Where ARE the backup settings???

  I have a premium sub, I use DayOne on web (Windows) and also Android app, and I cannot find the backup settings anywhere. Searching articles produces “answers” that are flat-out wrong. I have been unable to find anything in any settings for backups. What am I missing?

  As for the web app, it automatically syncs to our server, essentially creating a backup for you. But, you also have the option to create a personal backup by exporting your entries in JSON format here: https://dayoneapp.com/guides/tips-and-tutorials/exporting-entries/.
