Ways to Lock Entries

Hi, is there a function for users to lock and unlock daily entries so that it would not be deleted or amend unintentionally as we review past entries. I am using the journal for my PhD study so I need to revisit old entries.

Being able to lock an entry from accidental edits is an essential feature. Please give these features higher priority. It feels unusual that such fundamental functionality is still missing from a mature app like Day One.
