Unsubscribing: I have some doubts

Hello,
My renewal is coming up soon and I’m not sure I will keep my subscription.
Why:
- A serious security issue is not being resolved.
- I feel like the software is not moving forward. I’m paying a monthly fee and I don’t see any improvements. Given Apple is going to release a journaling app, I want to try it.
If I pause my subscription (meaning, I may become a customer or just come back to export my data), what happens to my journals and syncing?
I understand I will only be able to access my data via ‘All Entries’. Can I create some entries on my devices and they’ll magically sync when I pay again? Will I get my journals back?

It seems I cannot update my post so I’ll create a new one.
Basically, I wonder if the experience is seamless when you unsubscribe and decide to come back (or not) later…

The experience was designed to be seamless, switching back and forth between Premium and Basic Subscriptions doesn’t alter your existing Journals / Entries anyhow.
Your subscription status defines what the app can / can’t do, so there should be absolutely no problem!
