Unable to see pictures after posting on MacOS

I had this problem for a while now. When I create an entry and add pictures, I am not able to see all the pictures immediately. Only when I enter another picture the original one appears, whilst the last one does not show again. Alternatively I have to select ‘Insert text below’ or leave the day entry altogether and come back to it. This is rather frustrating, as I struggle with the design of my entry until I see all the pictures.
I looked through the forum and did not see any thread related to this issue. It is not an problem on my iPad or iPhone.I use an MacBook Air 2020, latest OS and latest software of DO.

I’ve had the same issue on my Mac (desktop and laptop) running Sequoia and earlier. It seems to be fixed in Tahoe although the option to use a photos date/time/location is no longer available. Hopefully it’s just a bug that gets fixed soon.

I tested this on the latest version of Day One for Mac, and the option appears to be working properly on my end. I’ve attached a screenshot of what I see immediately after adding a photo to an entry.
It might be worth checking if your app is fully updated to the latest version, or trying to restart the app to see if that resolves the display issue.
