Trouble with installing the app for MacOS

  I’m trying to reinstall the app to my MacBook but got the same message all the time “MacOS version 14 or later is required” (I’ve got the latest Monterey OS). Reboot doesn’t help as well as any other tricks.

  IIRC, Monterey is macOS 12. Here are recent macOS versions, in order and with their names.

  • 12.x Monterey
  • 13.x Ventura
  • 14.x Sonoma
  • 15.x Sequoia

  Hi @aviakassa,

  The error message you’re seeing means that your current macOS version (Monterey, version 12) is no longer supported by the latest Day One version. We dropped support for macOS 12 and 13 as of version 2024.25.

  To use the newest Day One, you’ll need to update your macOS to version 14 or later. If updating isn’t an option right now, you might be able to continue using an older version of Day One, but please be aware that it won’t receive further updates or support.
