the worst customer service ever

    I have tried to get help with my premium day one account and the only replies to my emails are form letters. is it ever possible to talk to a human???

    if there is a human out there that can answer some questions please contact me.

    Hi there! Human here. I’m glad you reached out in our forums so we can help! Account stuff can be so frustrating when they don’t just work as they should. Checking our emails I see that an account matching your username has reached out to us, so I’m going to reply to the details you’ve provided in that email to follow up on this.     I’ve had this exact same experience…for years (Day One user since…day one when they launched). I thought once Automattic purchased the company that things would get better, but they’ve actually gotten worse. Sending canned “support” responses to users (especially paying customers!) with no additional follow up is an insult. Someone at this company please pass this up to the first person capable of changing your support strategy AND who actually cares about customers.

    We’re currently working on improving our detection of Premium users when you reach out to us directly or via email. To help us with this, please make sure to contact us using the email associated with your Day One account that holds the Premium subscription.

    Keep in mind that Plus users are not considered Premium, so we offer support for them in a similar way as we do for Basic users here in the Forum. If you’d like to learn more about the different plans we offer, feel free to read about them here.

  • @gzoliuer I can’t find an open thread from you in this forum, and I also don’t see any emails from you or any Day One account associated with that. Keep in mind that we only check the email you used for this Forum.

    Did you use a different email address for your Day One account or when contacting us? If yes, kindly update your account’s email address here or create a new account with the correct one.
