Templates tab not working

I am a Premium user and just downloaded version 2023.14 (2416) of the app to my iPhone. When I click on the new ‘Templates’ tab it takes me to an almost blank screen and locks up. Pressing the ‘Done’ tab at the top or the 3 dots does nothing. I have to swipe up and close the App and reopen. The same issue then occurs again with Templates. I’ve restarted my phone but issue persists. Is this an issue with the new version of the software?

I couldn’t reproduce the behavior you described when tapping the “Templates” tab though. So we will need to investigate further with some account information.
Please contact our Happiness Engineers by going to Settings > Support > Contact support in the app settings. This will open a new email message to our support team. Be sure to send the message from the email associated with your Premium account for priority support. Thanks!

Hi Frank – so I have enjoyed Day One Premium for more than a year but your Support totally sucks :-( I followed the directions above, using the App, to try to contact your Happiness Engineers but I just go round and round in circles and never get to the stage where there is any option to email your team . I can access this forum via my PC but getting to the forum on my phone doesn’t work – I get a link by email but, on my phone it just takes me to WordPress.com.
I still have the same problem with Templates tab causing my phone to lock up. Please can you send me an e-mail address for your support team as I am fed up going round in circles by following your advice. I feel totally frustrated that your support is so impossible to reach.

Is the Mail app set up on your phone? When using the contact support option within the app on iOS, it should open an email from the Mail app. Alternatively, you can sign into https://dayone.me/login and click Report A Problem at the top right.
