Template Sections not staying when I copy and paste them

  I created a template with 3 questions. I used the sections button to write out the questions. When I create the journal from the template it of course shows the 3 questions. But when I copy and paste those 3 sections elsewhere in the journal it turns to just plain text. How do I keep the questions showing as a section? This particular journal is going to be ongoing with these questions
