Template feature not working

    I always use templates for new entries. It stopped working all of a sudden yesterday. If I create a new journal entry and select “template” the drop down menu shows options to tag the entry, “camera”, etc. Something changed – what happened?

    Steve, I’m having the exact same problem. It’s like the “template” button is pulling up the information for the “more” button. The current “template” button includes the items you listed (camera, audio, pdf, etc) while the “more” button is inactive.

    Yes, I’ve updated the DayOne app and my iPad is updated also. I believe this is a simple coding error that should be easily fixable.

    I’m having this problem too on my iPad, but only in landscape mode, in Portrait mode it works fine. My DayOne app is up to date.

    We do have a solution! It should be ready for you in our next update, 2023.3.

    Thanks for your patience and understanding in the meantime! One thing we’ve heard can help the issue is to restart the app and keep it in Portrait mode. The issue seems to appear most in Landscape view. We are of course continuing to work to release a better solution that fixes this in all views.
