Tag scrolling on macOS doesn’t work until you add or remove a tag

macOS – Version 2024.20 (1600)
When I view an entry and click on “tags”, scrolling doesn’t work until I add or remove a tag.
I’m not sure how to upload screenshots but I have one if you need it.

Could you please try going to the App Store and updating to v2024.22 to see if the issue is fixed there?
I cannot replicate the issue on that version.

BUT, I discovered it only seems to happen when “Show scroll bars” is set to “Always” (what I prefer)
If I set it to the default of “Automatically based on mouse of trackpad” the issues goes away 🤷♂️️

I tested it on macOS Sonoma 14.7 with “Show scroll bars” set to “Always” and I still can’t reproduce. I also see on your first screenshot, there are some tags on top of the “All Tags” header. Not sure if it’s due to the screenshot tool you’re using or if it’s something else.
If you can update the OS to 14.7 and get the Day One 2024.23 (which should be released next week), let’s see if it helps with the issue.

I have the same issue. It has been ongoing through many updates. I’m running MacOS Sequoia 15.1 and Day One 2024.23 (1610).
The scroll bar in the section for applied tags is missing. If I add another tag, the scroll bar is functional and I can scroll through the tags applied to an entry. That appears to be a glitch.

I upgraded to Sequoia 15.1 (regrettably, don’t do it if you use 1Password and Passkeys) and DayOne 2024.23 and the issue is still there.
When you’re testing make sure the “Show Scroll Bars” is set to “Always” and that there are enough tags to cause scrolling. THEN, close DayOne and come back to that entry and try scroll. Once you add or remove a tag the scroll bars work again.

Now I’m using Sequoia 15.2 Beta, but it’s happened on 15.1 as well as Sonoma Version 14.6.1

Now I’m running MacOS 15.1.1 and Dany One is 2024.24 (1616). Same scroll bar glitch on tags when in overflow. I seem to remember this for long time. If it gets fixed, that would be great.
