Switching from Canada App store to US App store – will I lose my data?

I used to live in Canada (that’s where I first started Day One journaling) and now I am in the US. I want to change the region on my app store to access more US apps. Will I lose all my data on Day One by doing this?
As I switch app stores, I’d also like to download all my entries at once – is this possible? I’m not seeing an option to do this in Settings. Would appreciate any guidance on this – I definitely don’t want to love my content by switching app store regions.

No, not at all. Your journal data is not removed, regardless of subscription status or location. https://dayoneapp.com/guides/premium-subscription/what-happens-if-my-premium-subscription-expires-or-is-canceled.
If you are subscribed to Premium via the Apple App Store, you will need to cancel the automatic renewal and then re-subscribe after changing the region. If you are on a discounted rate from before June 2019, this rate would not be available after this process.
