Stuck in update

Day One app updates automatically, but this update never finished and is frozen in place uncompleted. Can’t open it, can’t do anything. Don’t have this issue with any other app right now – is there an issue with this latest update?

We’ve had a few reports of the issue. If you power your device off, and back on the update should complete. If that does work, please try these steps.

This is a commun issue with iOS, it occurred a few to me with different apps.
Restarting the device solves the issue.
