It may be impossible because the purpose of the app will change, but if possible, I would like to be able to post and exchange like SNS. I’m also happy to exchange messages only with people who know their contact information.

This is not on our roadmap, and I’m not sure if this will be something Day One will implement in the future. Have you had the chance to try Shared Journals?
This would allow you to invite specific people to share a journal with. All users would be able to add entries and read other entries from other users that are added to that shared journal.
