Small Interface Tweak (Journal Suggestions)
-
First of all, I think it’s really cool that we can use Apple’s journal suggestions in the Day One app. But, I find it sort of inefficient that the suggestions just come in a spaced out list. (Basically there’s a lot of untapped potential) What I mean by this is if you build off of a suggestion with like 20 songs and a map, you have to scroll through every single individual thing before getting to actual text. Wether it’s a dropdown at the top of the entry where we can see all of the suggestions we added, or a grid at the end of the entry, finding a way to tweak the writing interface would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Thank you for this excellent feedback, @lightningh4. We are excited to be able to use the journal suggestions in Day One. It really unlocks the potential for new entries with rich content to preserve your memories.
I have submitted your feedback to the team for future consideration!

In the macOS app can the text entry box pop out so we can see the other items; events and photo library, to help us remember what to put in the notes part. Also, there is no “cancel” or “done” button in the notes part.
