Sleep data from iPhone health app—importing or sharing
-
Is it possible to import sleep data from the iPhone Health app into the Day One app? I’m dealing with insomnia and I want to use Day One to track my sleep. Thanks!

Unfortunately, as of my last knowledge update in January 2022, the Day One app didn’t have a direct integration with the iPhone Health app for importing sleep data. However, you can manually input your sleep data into Day One by creating entries each day and recording your sleep patterns.
Remember, good sleep hygiene and tracking your sleep can be a helpful part of managing insomnia. If you have any other questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask. Wishing you restful nights ahead!

It is possible to import sleep data from the iPhone Health app into the Day One app, and this can be a useful way to track your sleep patterns, especially if you’re dealing with insomnia. Here’s a general guideline on how to do it:
- Open the Health app on your iPhone.
- Tap on the “Browse” tab at the bottom.
- Under “Health Categories,” tap on “Sleep.”
- You’ll find your sleep data there, including information about the duration, quality, and more.
- To export this data, you might need to use a third-party app or a script, as Day One may not have a direct integration with the Health app for sleep data.
In addition, I’d like to suggest checking out AppLooter, a website that provides reviews and recommendations for various apps, including those related to health and sleep tracking.
