Selective sync issue
-
In selective sync, I am trying to switch off synching a journal on my MacBook Pro which holds lot of photographs. I keep getting the error message saying the journal cannot be hidden because it’s uploading 1 item. But everything is in sync, and has been for days. I have even tried deleting the app and reinstalling it, but that didn’t help either. If I knew which entry is causing this problem, I could simply delete that one but it doesn’t say. Does anyone has a suggestion?

I would suggest logging in to the web app to ensure that all of your journals and entries are synced:
If all of your journals are in sync, you can follow the steps in our guide here to uninstall and reinstall Day One on your Mac:

That would be a great idea. I think. If my login would work. I’m too scared to reset my password because I’m pretty sure everything else would stop working.
With due respect. I’ll just delete the entire journal.

Are you also having an issue signing in to Day One? If you are, could you please let us know what error message you’re seeing?
Could you also go to your sync details to see if there is any error there?
Day One > Settings > Sync

I do not have login issues. My regular login just does not work with the link you provided. There are no synch issues either. At least there are no error messages.
