selectable journal prompts?

I like the idea of journal prompts but often I’m so busy I either miss the prompt completely or it captures my interest but I don’t have time that day to make an entry. And then it’s gone… the next day it’s replaced and I’ve lost my chance to capture that thought.
Sometimes it’s a thought provoking question and I don’t know the answer when prompted, and I’ll mull it over for a few days… but again I’ve missed my chance.
I’m not suggesting that you should be able to select from all the prompts… that kind of goes against the principle, and there are hundreds. But perhaps you could see today’s prompt as the default in a dropdown selector which also contains the prompts from the last 7 days? That means I can think about stuff during the week and at the weekend, when I actually have peace and time to sit/think/write, I can create entries to answer those prompts properly, instead of a rushed moment when it was sprung on me.
Does that make sense?

I think this is already available i am using an ipad if you press on 3 dots on the prompt square there are options one is see recent prompts.
Is that that you mean or have I misunderstood

I just found in the documentation that you can right-click on macOS Daily Prompt to see a Recent Prompts option menu… this is exactly what I wanted. Not very discoverable though.
I couldn’t find it on iPad though so was about to write a reply here asking when I saw your post… so thank you! Found it… again, not very discoverable at all… you need to open the side menu and access the Daily Prompt from there. In my normal usage I see the Daily Prompt in the large blank panel on the RHS (if no entry is selected) and use that. There is no way to access recents there… I didn’t even know about that side menu.
Anyway… my suggestion is no longer required. Thanks all. (Although it could be more discoverable!)

Excellcent.
I personally feel whilst there are several features and tweaks I think would improve Day One it is already so good. I keep discovering things by accident.
