I’m writing to address an issue with renewing my student discount subscription.
Around a month ago, I applied for the student discount, which was successfully applied to my account. However, today I faced a problem with the automatic payment. It turns out my bank card was locked for payments, leading to the decline.
This has unfortunately resulted in the loss of my student discount eligibility. I’m reaching out to understand the steps needed to reinstate the discount. I rely on Day One for my journaling needs, and the student discount is crucial for me.
Could you please provide guidance on how to resolve this issue? Also, let me know if there’s any documentation needed to reverify my student status.

Could anyone help me? I am in basic status now, so I can’t use Day One across iOS and Mac. It’s inconvinient.

The bank told me I paid a bill for Day One a few minutes ago. I’m very happy. But could anyone tell me whether the support team operate something?

Hello @yv84t5w7ck,
If the payment is not processed or there is an error with the card, the system will retry the payment in a couple of days. This is most likely what happened, and the payment was successful this time.

I also wonder about the student discount? I had my premium trial and will be charged for a year on tuesday feb 20th. I am a phd student in Swedenwith sparse funding so would really brnefit from a discount. Is it possible to obtain?
