Recover from TimeMachine backup?

I recently needed to reformat the hard drive on my iMac and do a clean install of the OS and didn’t use Time Machine to recover everything from the external drive backup since I wanted a fresh start with my drive. (Also I did not have it backed up to the DayOne cloud.) Is there a way to manually move my Day One data from the backup disk so I can get my journals back? Is there a file in the Library folder or similar with the data?
I have the original Plus account, not the month subscription. Seems like you no longer offer email support?

Never mind, I found the answer here:

I had been looking for the User Library folder but forgot that MacOS hides that. Once unhidden I was about to find the files and I have my journal entries back.
