Question about storage
-
Hello,
I’m currently using a free plan, how much space my diary can use?
Synchronization is an end to end encrypted, but where is my diary stored? If you store my diary on your servers, are you encrypting diaries so nobody (including server administrator or other technical people) can’t read my diary?
One more question unrelated to storage, is there any mood tracking features?
Thanks

Hello @jovan23460dab4a489,
When using Day One Basic, you can sync entries and view your account from one device. You can read more about that here: https://dayoneapp.com/guides/day-one-sync/secure-cloud-backup/
If using End-to-End Encryption, then your content requires an encryption key to view. We do not have access or store this key on our end, so please make sure you back that up somewhere safe. If this key is lost, there would be no way to download the encrypted data, as you need that key to do so. So in short, your data is encrypted and no one besides you, who holds the encryption key, can view those entries.
One more question unrelated to storage, is there any mood tracking features?
We do not have a mood tracking feature at this time. Some users will use tags to track their mood. I’d be happy to submit a feature request on your behalf.
