Please please please can linked entries be added from within the page

Hello! My relationship with Day One has lasted more than any other relationship, including a marriage.
Please can you add an option of embedding links to other entries with EASE on macOS. Apple Notes or Obsidian do it very easily, using ‘[‘ or ‘>>’ to bring up a list of entries to link to.
This would be amazing!
It’s enormously frustrating having to manually get links from other pages to paste into the one one is writing in. PLEASE can you look into this, your customers would LOVE IT -
