Please bring back the old Home Screen appearance/ display

I didn’t think an appearance or display settings could make much of a difference but I would love an option to go back to the old version with colors, stats, etc. I’ve been using this app almost daily for eight years and this new set up is a hindrance. I’d love an option to return to the old platform, something that really made Day One stand out among competitors.

The old user interface made me feel like I was having a private conversation with a relaxed friend when I was writing a diary, which was very relaxing and stress-relieving. The new interface is like an efficient factory with a sophisticated clock-in system, which urged me to write things down, but it was less fun.
