Places no longer shows actual street addresses

About 4 weeks ago, the places feature on my DayOne app stopped showing the actual addresses you went to. Instead, it now shows the name of a business that it thinks is at the address.
Has anyone experienced a similar situation? If so, how did they solve it?

I have the same problem since the 7th of April. I am using an iPhone for updating in Day One. I have no clue how to change this behavior.

Checking this forum, I found that you can switch off the flag for automatic retrieval of point of interest information.
This has been updated in version 2024.9 -
Hi @odiaukoko. Thanks for writing in. As @pees1966 mentioned, there is a toggle in Settings > Location History > Apply Points of Interest. This is a recent update to the Apple Maps location API.
