Places aren’t syncing across devices

  I searched the Day ONe forum on facebook for this and only found my initial post from 9/20 asking the same question with no replies so trying here:

  The Today view on my phone has a lot of detailed place data in it for every day, presumably because i bring my phone with me everywhere. Yet when i go to create entries on my ipad, i do not have any of that place data (because my ipad is left at home most of the time).

  Is there anyway to have the “place” data from the Today view synchronized across all of my Day One devices so when creating entries I have the place data available to me regardless which device I’m creating on?

  Hi @sjwillis 👋

  Right now we don’t have a way to get your location data from every device to show on all devices you’re using Day One in. The alternative solution will be to use Day One on the iPhone to create the entry, then finishing up editing on the iPad.
   
  I’ll let the team know it’d be a nice addition to the app to get those locations from specific devices showing everywhere.
