Password ‘weak or compromised’

  When trying to log on to day one web for the first time, it gives the above message and tells me the password must be reset, please use the link below. There isn’t a link below though, just the regular ones of continuing with google or apple.

  It doesn’t work if I scan the qr code either.

  The thing is, I actually don’t have access to that email anymore, and need to change it.

  Hi @robsblog488,

  Are you logged into Day One on any devices? If so, you could navigate to the Account section of the app’s settings and update your password from there.

  For example, in the iOS app you can navigate to Day One’s Settings > tap on your account at the top > Change Password.

  Once that is complete, you can login to the web app and update your email address to your current email.

  Let us know how that goes.
