New to Day One: please give users the option to customize the entries list!

Hi,
I’m new to Day One and really like it so far. I can understand why it’s so popular and the reason many users have used it for a very long time.
I just nonetheless wanted, echoing some discussions I’ve seen in other posts, suggest some changes to the entries list. I have not seen the previous layout, but the current entries take so much space! I have to say I’ve tried a couple other journalling apps and many of them could show much more entries per screen on a similar list.
I think giving the users the ability to choose how many lines/what content they want to preview here would be great. Maybe some people like it that they can see large previews of their past entries, I’m the opposite and would much prefer seeing only one line (with the title) so that I can see much farther in the past without having to scroll endlessly.
