Menu bar icon does not show up on mac.

  After closing the app, Day One shuts down. There is no background process running to add entries. There is no Menu bar icon either. Therefore, I don’t get any reminders when I quit the app.

  Hi @pjs8p65pjy

  Can you tell us how you are closing Day One? Are you clicking the X in the upper left corner of the Day One window? Or are you going into the Menu > Day One > and selecting quit Day One?

  If you simply close the window by clicking the x, Day One does run in the background, and you should continue to receive reminders.
