Map pop up gets really annoying while journaling.

  I want to point out a feature which is really annoying while writing inside a journal. 
  Whenever I write in the journal page, the map appears automatically at the end of the screen if you scroll upwards which is really distracting and annoying and I’ve to constantly hide because you don’t want anything else to appear while focusing on the writing.

  I hope your development team will sort out this issue. I’ve been using the updated version of the app on Iphone and the problem is still there. It’s the only reason I’ve been hesitating to buy the premium version of the app. I’ll appreciate if this problem is sorted out. I’m also attaching a screenshot of how it looks like while typing.

  Hi @urtanoli1998! Thanks for reaching out. The map should only be appearing when the entry is in Read mode. While typing, there should just be the keyboard and the text. Is the map showing while you are writing in an entry or after you tap Done?

  Are you interested in keeping the location data enabled for the entries?

  Yes, map is appearing when journal is in reading mode which is really annoying and should only pop up when clicked instead of keep popping up whenever I swipe upwards while reading.
  I like the location data enabled but this map feature is really distracting whule reading. Kindly fix it.

  It sounds like the map is behaving as expected. May we have you send diagnostics from your device along with a screen recording? You can do so in Day One > Settings > Support > Diagnostics.

  You may receive an automated reply to the diagnostics email. If so, please reply to the automated response.

  I’ve sent the diagnostics and screen recording as per the mentioned procedure. However, I was told that this process is only for premium users and I should post on forums for the help. Kindly let me know how I can proceed.

  @urtanoli1998 Sometimes we need to get more information via logs from Basic users as well. Did you reply to the automated message after sending diagnostics?
