Major app issues

Having the following issues with Day One app:
1) I am not able to save entries effectively, when I try to click done/save it disappears entirely from the journal.
2) Also all of my streak history has been erased/set to zero.
Please correct these issues ASAP as I am not able to use this app for its intended purpose deeming it worthless in its present condition.

My Day One diary was 5 month old and contained lots of valuable info / events / health records
Suddenly it erased itsself without my inputs and sends back to day 1.
I’ve seen several questions about this erasure on various sources, asking why erased, can it be recovered, BUT NO ANSWERs FROM Day One tech support or customer support.
With this unexpected deletion, the program is useless.
Can I recover? The erased text is not in the trash,

- When did you first download Day One?
- When was the last time you saw the entries?
- Has anything happened to the device or to Day One since then?
