MacOS26 Liquid Glass UI bug (continued)

This is a follow up to a UI bug as reported prior in this forum, and the subsequent Reddit thread:

Description:
This bug persists after the 2025.22 update released on the App Store 1 week ago and is affected by window tinting.
Steps to Reproduce:- Open Day One 2025.22 on macOS 26.1 Tahoe.
- Switch to Dark Mode.
- Turn on window tint:
- Navigate to Settings app > Appearance on left column > scroll down to Windows > toggle ON “Tint window background with wallpaper color”
- Write or view any entry timestamp bubble.
- Change wallpaper to lighter or darker as needed to see effect of different window tinting.
- Turn OFF window tint.
Expected Result:
The right panel text editor should be uniform or in one color in dark mode, regardless of window tinting on or off, or dark/light wallpaper.
Actual Result:
Bugs listed above continue to to persist in varying shades of grey rather than the white color in previous Forum post and Reddit post as linked above.

I’m not currently able to reproduce this on my end. If you update to version 2025.23, are you still able to see this happen?

Hi @staff-reid,
Still reproducible on 2025.23 even after app reinstall. Of note, use Built-in Apple XDR display not an external monitor, with a light-colored background, and when composing a new entry.

I can confirm that I can reproduce the issue and have filed a bug report for it. We’re aiming to get it fixed in a future update.
