MacOS customized keyboard shortcuts on three dots menu

    [For the MacOs version.]
If you try to add a keyboard shortcut for “Edit > Pin” option (or others in the ••• menu), it’s correctly applied, but it won’t work.

So, my request: is it possible to have keyboard shortcuts working for such actions such as “edit > pin” or “edit > date“? We have one built-in for “Edit > Tag“.
Whatever solution is fine: build them in, adding the options to the normal menus in the MacOS bar in order for them to work with the system feature, whatever …?

Thank you very much in advance for your attention.

P.S.: maybe a way to make them work exists. If so, please, I beg your pardon, and could you explain me how?

    Hello @negr0re! Thanks for posting.

If you try to add a keyboard shortcut for “Edit > Pin” option (or others in the ••• menu), it’s correctly applied, but it won’t work.

To confirm, are you adding these shortcuts in the System Settings?

There are some native keyboard shortcuts for Day One. See here: https://dayoneapp.com/guides/tips-and-tutorials/keyboard-shortcuts/

There is not a way to Pin entries with the keyboard shortcuts, but you can edit tags using Command+T while editing an entry.

Let us know if that helps!
